Dental sleep medicine
Resting well starts with breathing well while you sleep.
Dental sleep medicine addresses snoring, bruxism, and sleep apnea through breathing and function, not just symptoms. Understanding how a person breathes while they sleep is key to understanding their rest, their daytime energy, and their wellbeing.
We work in dental sleep medicine, addressing issues such as snoring, bruxism, and sleep apnea through a functional and respiratory evaluation. We perform respiratory polygraphy and assess the breathing pattern, providing objective data that reveals how breathing during sleep affects rest, daytime energy, and overall wellbeing.
We work closely with our orthodontics team for teens and adults to build the sleep evaluation into how treatments are planned and carried out.
